The original State of Decay was launched in 2013 for Xbox One, followed by a PC version. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world infested with zombies. Players have to carefully handle their resources to live, with a focus on crafting and scavenging. Unlike traditional games that depend on a single protagonist, State of Decay focuses on building and overseeing a community of those who survived. The game environment changes in response to your choices, which means that supplies dwindle over time, zombies become more powerful, and unforeseen circumstances force you to consistently adapt.

I know about the State of Decay series, but I haven’t had the chance to try it yet. The concept of managing a community in a zombie apocalypse sounds incredible, especially with the focus on resource management, survival, and tough decision-making. Frankly speaking, I am really curious to experience this game.
