What makes a horror movie great to you?

We all have different tastes, even in the horror niche. For some it is the storyline, for some it is the gore, for others it is the soundtrack. Whatever it might be, as long as it allows us to enjoy movies it is valid.

What makes a horror movie great to you?

Everything in the movie makes sense to me coming from the soundtrack, gore, storyline. Horror movies are always good because the producers are good to set things very well.
