What is the most lame horror game?

When I talk about the lame horror games, I am talking about a horror game that was not scary one bit. For me, even though I know it looks controversial, I think Evil Within 2 is on the top of the game. It is more like a fun game than being scary at all.

I get where you're coming from, but I honestly found Resident Evil 6 to be way more of a letdown. It barely had any scares, just action-packed moments.

Well, I can agree that Evil Within 2 is a lame horror game because the gameplay focused more on combat than scares reducing the tensions in the game. Alien too have poor design and weak scares too.

They did a poorly job moving away from what the series was known for with the storyline of RE 6. The series became big for its scary scenes, but we had few with this particular version.

Evil Within 2 was a game I had high hopes for and I ended up being disappointed instead. There was so much they could have done to make it better and I feel as though that game alone was very rushed.

When I played Resident Evil 6 and Dead Space 3, I didn't experience any horror gameplay. They are more of action game than horror.

It is one of my complaints about Resident Evil 6. It has got less horror scenes than what we experienced with previous games in the series.

I think categorizing a horror game as "lame" is subjective. Individuals have their own preferences and expectations, and a game that is lame to you might be interesting for me. But then I also agree that some games are criticized for being poorly designed, or failing to deliver their purpose that is to scare people. For me that would be Amy.

There are some horror games that didn't live up to the expectations that one would have expected. This is the part where one would have an issue with that type of horror game. The gameplay being poor and not up to what one would have expected is another thing altogether that would make players rate a horror game as "lame".
