The "best" classic horror book is still up for debate, but you can't go wrong with Dracula by Bram Stoker. I'm fortunate enough to live in the north east of England and I've made innumerable trips to the seaside town where Stoker got the inspiration for the book. A little town in North Yorkshire called Whitby. Dracula is frequently considered the pinnacle of classic horror. It has defined vampire mythology for over a century and remains a key influence on both horror literature and pop culture.

Do you agree that Dracula is the top tier of classic gothic horror, or do you have another suggestion?
