I think that resource management could add to the thrill involving games. However, none or almost no game actually involves one crucial aspect of human health, which is food! It seems like characters in horror games need no food. They can just continue to go on and on without food and drink. This honestly seems quite unrealistic to me. Characters in video games are supposedly humans and they also need food and drink to survive.
