Mouthwashing is a psychological horror game that I enjoyed playing some years ago when it was released. As a first-person type of game, I enjoyed the unsettling visuals. I am currently looking for similar games such as it. Any options?

I've heard about Cry of Fear, and the reviews that I read were convincing. When it comes to picking, do you think Still Wakes the Deep is better, or should I play Cry of Fear first?

If you ask me, I find Cry of Fear more terrifying because of its relentless psychological horror and grotesque imagery. Well, Still Wakes the Deep can also haunt you with its suffocating isolation, but Cry of Fear can make your nightmares real.

Have you played Dead Space? It is less of a psychological horror game and more of an action one.

Here's a deeper dive into the game:
The character you play as is called Isaac Clarke, and he is an engineer tasked with investigating a mining spaceship that has gone silent.

Once he gets there, he realizes the ship is now full of reanimated corpses/zombies. He must search for his missing girlfriend, Nicole, while also trying to find out why and how the outbreak happened.

Amnesia, Soma, Cry of Fear, Dead Space and many more. Dead space is an action game though not too horrific but it's also a good game. Cry of Fear is too terrific.
