How Has Horror Movie Changed Over The Decades?

Back in the day, people loved monsters and their movies. Then, there were such masked villains as Jason and Freddy. Now horror movies has witnessed an evolution and they now have a complex storyline. Some of them are really ghastly, others are like riddles. A lot of newer horror movies are not as scary as the older ones.

How do you perceive horror movies now from what it used to be?

I like watching horror way more now, especially now that it has evolved into more interesting story. The old horror movies were all about the paranormal monsters. It's difficult to see what is really important. Now, there are movies such as Ghostbusters and Monster House. These horror movies are entertaining and can give people some nightmares.

The new evolution of horror movies are good and I found them so interesting and the different storylines made it to be more inquisitive. I am still okay with the olden horror movies.

Horror movies these days are good, we now have better graphics and better effects. These has helped to make the experience more fun and realistic. In terms of storyline or plot, I feel there has been a little downgrade in this aspect. Most horror movies today do not really have strong plots, it's just about someone killing for no strong motive.
