The game is highly controversial because it is violent and has a cult following, However, the game was also loved for for bold story telling even though it has disturbing themes. The game has uneven pacing, which might frustrate some players, however, the game is still worth playing for those seeking a provocative horror experience. The game is sometimes labeled as the most violent horror game of all time.

Lol. It's more of exploring the town in order to investigate the secrets buried inside the town and also solving as much puzzles to progress to new level.
I usually like games like this, where you investigate and unravel the mystery around you. It's usually fun this way.

Does it by any chance have to do with harvesting of organs? 🤔
I can understand why you thought it would have something to do with harvesting organs :) the title does seem to give that impression and with it being a horror game, would make sense :)

Harvester is not a game I have played but one I have heard a lot about. Will be a game I play when I have some time though as from what I have heard, it is a great game.

I appreciate Harvester's distinct narrative and storytelling strategy. The disturbing elements enhance the game's tension, which makes it stand out from other horror games.

The game sparked controversy due to its extreme violence, disturbing imagery, and dark themes. The game featured graphic depictions of torture, murder, and psychological horror, which many found unsettling and inappropriate. Critics argued that it pushed boundaries too far.
