Favorite Weapons and Combat

When playing action horror games, there are usually various weapons we can choose from, ranging from baseball bats, to machete, guns and so on. What are your favorite weapons to use and are they your favorite?

Actually, I like weapons that offer a balance between power and strategy. My favorite is the crossbow, it is versatile and offers different bolt types, perfect for varied combat situations. I also love the shotgun for its stopping power, especially in tight spaces.
