Even though the game was released in 2002, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem still stands as one of the best psychological horror games. In the game, you will have to uncover the dark mysteries surrounding an ancient artifact. You will experience visual and auditory hallucinations which can blur the line between the game and your reality, thus making the game a chilling horror experience.

I didn't get to play Eternal Darkness but from the reviews and friends' remarks about it, it have a good horror experience and a big justice to the storyline and I believe that it uncovers as many dark mysteries needed in the movie.

Although I have yet to play Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, I am aware that it is a highly regarded psychological horror game that provides a horrific experience you will never forget. The setting is regarded as gothic, and the sounds are ominous, making it ideal for horror game fans. I want to play it real soon.
