Do you dislike Ethan?

I have noticed that there are a lot of RE players that don't really flow with Ethan. The first reason that I think some don't like him is because of how RE 7 was written which was not so great. Do you like the character or you prefer Chris and Leon?

Yeah, I see why some people don’t vibe with Ethan, especially with how RE7 was written. I personally prefer Chris and Leon, those characters just feel more solid to me.

Ethan's introduction disrupted the established narrative flow due to he wasn't deeply rooted in RE history but I like Ethan because of his humanity and vulnerability. While fans prefer Chris and Leon was because of their familiarity and heroic status.

Especially Chris. He offers much more with the storyline. I believe that there is a need for Ethan's character to be made better in subsequent series. otherwise, everyone would keep running with the same narrative.

I never really felt that I could vibe with Etan in Resident Evil at all, always found there was something lacking with his character and the storylines. I always felt I preferred Chris rather than Ethan.

This is what a couple of my friends said about the character as well. The positive vibe is not just there with Ethan and that made more players prefer the other guys such as Chris instead.
